mmmmh, I'm just in from my shiatsu treatment. Somehow, it got me in a thoughtful mood.
I have a question, that was inspired by reading 'A beach for my dreams' by Sergio Bambaren. If I tell you I read it back during my vacation but only now post this question here, I'm sure you'll only shake your head at me. So I'm not telling. :D Anyway, the book got me thinking about what I really need in my life, what I want and what makes me happy. What of my wordly posessions would I get rid of gladly? What is important enough to keep? What achievments of mine would I want to part with? I haven't really started on my list yet (yes, I really want to write it down and make a list of it) because RL is squeezing the last drop out of me at the moment. But I want to keep this question in mind and not let it slip away. So I'm asking you now:
What material, immaterial, emotional, social or otherwise shaped things that you bought, got as a present or achieved yourself would you want to get rid of, part with or keep? What is important or un-important for your own personal happines.
It doesn't matter if it's small or big, or what other people think of your choice. What do you need in your life to make you happy?
And for those who don't want to get all philosophical: a meme! :D Found at
trishabooms ' place.
The problem with LJ: We all think we are so close, but really we know nothing about one another. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.
Then, if you're up to it, post this in your LJ. Spread the query (queery-y?) love.
